Jannik Sinner is one of the finest tennis players at the moment and he is trying to get his title for the US Open. This Italian player created waves in the media when he earned his title at the Australian Open.

Jannik Sinner’s popularity was mostly accelerated due to his win in the Australian Open in January. He won the title against Daniil Medvedev where he overcame his rival by a two-set deficit.

When he lifted his grand slam trophy for Australian Open this year, Sinner became a sensation. For the first time in New York, he appeared in Wimbledon in 2019 where he lost to Alex Bolt in a rigorous encounter. His other brilliant yet memorable performance was in the quarter-final of the 2022 US Open. The match was with Carlos Alcaraz as the competition was thrilling with superb groundstrokes.

Two out of five of his appearances in the US Open were his matches lost to Alexander Zverev. Out of the fifteen five-set matches, six were played in New York.

Sinner said,

“You have to fight and work for every point and that’s what I try to do on the court”, which seems to be his motto as well.
